Although the Manor is designed mostly as a blueprint for the location it surprisingly works great as a dungeon in a very fresh way and tone. The map consists of several larger areas, perfect for propper battles, mixed with narrow corridors and other attractions.
Dress in your best clothes, polish your armour, take the last sip of sake and enter the Feudal Lord’s Manor.
Adventure hooks ideas:
– You are the staff of the local lord – maids, cleaners, waiters etc. Your master is about to come home in a few hours, but little does he know that during his absence the house got attacked by a wild flock of wyrmlings. You have to fend them off and repair the damage before he returns, otherwise, you can say goodbye to your jobs…
– This morning a panting baker popped into the militia garrison, incoherently muttering about the Lord’s death. His words soon turn out to be true, as the guards get into the lord’s manor and discover the servants in grief, around the body. He was killed… Now the question is who was the perpetrator? Maybe the disgraced cleaner, from the lower branch of a different noble family? What about the advisor, who was gossiped to be romancing with the lord? Or even the cook, an ex-member of the Assassins Guild?
– It’s a family reunion. It’s extremely rare for the whole clan to gather, but now there is a special occasion – your sister is getting married to an heir of your long-lasting rivals. As you drink glass by glass suddenly a sound of shattering glass can be heard from the different room. You better not be drunk yet, or the wedding might never come to existence.
